ENLIGHTENED, INC. SPONSORS THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY’S 10TH ANNUAL PITCH GEORGE COMPETITION
WASHINGTON (NOVEMBER 18): Enlightened, Inc., a leading Information Technology (IT) consulting firm delivering Cyber Security, System Integration, and Management Consulting solutions, sponsored the George Washington University’s (GWU), Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence (CFEE) 10th Annual Pitch George. President and CEO of Enlightened, Inc., Antwanye Ford, and Enlightened National Urban Fellow, Ibrahima Souare, served on a panel of judges who were tasked with evaluating the “elevator pitch” of each participant.
For the past 10 years, the Pitch George “elevator pitch” competition has provided both GWU undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to present their business ideas, receive valuable feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, and win startup capital. In this year’s competition, the top three ranked participants in the undergraduate and the graduate categories received $10,000 in prizes combined. Support for GWU programs such as this one is important to the executive leadership of Enlightened, Inc. as its three founders are all GWU alumni who first met as GWU students.
“I am at GW all the time because I am grateful for the relationship that was started here,” said Antwanye Ford in his opening remarks to the participants. “Make sure you put your energy and your passion behind this opportunity and overall, be persistent because there are great opportunities here to make changes for the world.”
