ENLIGHTENED WINS A SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND MIGRATION CONTRACT WITH THE DC PRETRIAL SERVICES AGENCY
Enlightened to Modernize PSA’s PRISM System

WASHINGTON (September 24): Enlightened, Inc. ("Enlightened"), a leading provider of Information Technology (IT) consulting services, announced today it has won a software development and migration services contract with the D.C. Pretrial Services Agency (PSA). Enlightened will be responsible for modernizing and migrating PSA’s existing Pretrial Real-time Information System Manager (PRISM) system using its Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 2-compliant software engineering methodology. This agile methodology is geared toward delivering manageable, scalable, and measurable implementations.

PRISM is the agency’s enterprise client management system. PRISM’s primary purpose is to provide reliable information that improves the timeliness and quality of recommendations and decisions associated with the supervision and treatment of defendants who enter the criminal justice system.
