DC GOVERNMENT AWARDS ENLIGHTENED CONTRACT TO CONDUCT ENTERPRISE-WIDE ASSET MANAGEMENT & INVENTORY SERVICES

WASHINGTON (SEPTEMBER 5): DC Government Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) has awarded Enlightened, Inc. a contract to support the OCFO’s Fiscal Year 2005 Fixed Asset Inventory initiative. Enlightened will provide asset management and inventory services, user training, as well as, ongoing application and technical support of the asset management system.

Enlightened has teamed with ProBar, a locally based leader in the field of professional physical-inventory services. Enlightened will leverage its expertise for performing property data collection at the OCFO-designated facilities.

OCFO’s Fixed Asset inventory initiative is vital to facilitating fiscal responsibility on the part of the Government of the District of Columbia. The initiative ensures that all DC Government facilities comply with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement No. 34 financial-reporting requirements.
