ENLIGHTENED ACHIEVED CMMI LEVEL 2 RATING

WASHINGTON (September 5): Enlightened, Inc. ("Enlightened"), a leading provider of Information Technology (IT) consulting services, announced today it has achieved a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 rating for software engineering by the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

The CMMI is an internationally recognized standard for assessing software development practices. CMMI involves assessing and comparing key fundamentals of process improvement approaches to facilitate quality and performance improvements throughout an organization. CMMI standards ensure Enlightened provides detailed process definition of project management, requirements, and change management procedures. The appraisal was conducted by experts from Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis, Inc. (CSSA) a leader in independent testing and evaluation services.
