THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL (CJCC) AWARDS ENLIGHTENED CONTRACT TO SUPPORT JUSTIS PHASE IV PROJECT

WASHINGTON (OCTOBER 10): Enlightened, an INC. 500 company, announced today that it has received a contract award from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) Washington DC. Under this contract, Enlightened, along with its partner EDS, will provide program management, software development, and integration services for the Justice Information System (JUSTIS) Phase IV project.

The services provided will allow various Federal and local Criminal Justice agencies to share data via a JUSTIS central hub. Different agencies will be able to share their data and information in a user-friendly environment.

For this contract, Enlightened will provide and use Service Oriented Architecture and web services to integrate and facilitate data exchange between disparate systems of thirteen different law enforcement agencies within DC, creating extremely fast inquiry application and visual analytical tool. Data and information flowing through JUSTIS will be made available in Department of Justice mandated Global Justice XML Data Model (GJXDM) format. In addition, Enlightened will provide overall project management, Data Quality Assurance, and technical support.
